Thank you for choosing to stay at Muddy Duck Tourist Park whilst visiting the Longreach region.
Your reservation has been accepted for the number of guests and animals stated on your booking confirmation and any additional guests or pets will incur further charges and/or the requirement for additional accommodation/sites. Upon entering the park, guests agree to leave their accommodation/ site and any facilities used in a clean and tidy condition. If the site is found to be excessively dirty or damaged, the guests accept they will be charged a cleaning fee of $50/ hour. All damages, breakages or losses to property of the park, are to be paid by the guest.

site requests
Our team will endeavour to place guests onto sites that best suit their van, tent or motorhome for the duration of their stay. While we do our utmost to meet the requests of our guests, we are unfortunately unable to guarantee specific sites and do not confirm site numbers ahead of arrival.
Pets
We are a pet-friendly park and welcome well-behaved pets who remain on their lead while in the park. Pets are welcome to stay with you for free on our powered and unpowered sites. If you are travelling with your pet, please let us know at the time of booking so we can revise the pet policy at time of check in. Please refer to our Pet Policy for further information.
noise curfew
To ensure the enjoyment and comfort of all guests in the park, our camp kitchen closes at 9pm. While you are welcome to socialise at your site, we ask that you keep your conversations to a respectful volume and refrain from playing music after 9pm. We kindly ask that all park guests adhered to a ‘quiet’ period between 10pm and 7.30am.
smoking policy
All shared facilities are non-smoking. Please be respectful of others and do not smoke near others.
Early Departure
No refunds will be given should you decide to check out early.
insurance
We strongly recommend all guests hold an insurance policy covering both their vehicles and vans as we take no responsibility for damages as a result of unusual weather events, fallen branches or other extraordinary events or circumstances beyond our control. In addition, it is advised that guests take out travel insurance whilst on holidays to cover personal injury, illness or unforeseen circumstances.
bicycles & scooter
Guests may ride bicycles and scooters within the park however must do so in a manner that does not endanger themselves, other persons, or any property. Children must be supervised at all times. It is a requirement that all riders comply with the rules of the state that apply to road safety, wear helmets at all times and must not exceed the signed speed limits. The riding of skateboards, rollerblades, in-line skates or any other ride on apparatus is not permitted in the park. Bicycle riding is not permitted after sunset. When not in use bicycles and scooters must be stored neatly and must not be left to obstruct the roadways or pathways of the park so as to cause a trip hazard for other guests.
ball games
Bat and Ball Games that may cause damage to persons or property are not permitted around caravan sites or near vans or vehicles. Please move into a larger area either inside or outside of the Tourist Park. Games such as Bocce, and Ring Toss are permitted. Please ask our friendly staff the best area to play ball games.

• Cancellation requests must be submitted via Contact Form on the website
• Guest may extend or shorten their stay upon request on arrival, however a refund will not be provided for unexpected early departures.
